I wish I could explain how to compromise or what compromise is to me when it comes to relationships, if I could...this painting would begin to tell the tale. It's not meeting in the middle all the time, it's sometimes it's left or right of center. It's not black and white, nor is it gray. It's about me, it's about you, it's about the world around us. It's not clean and it doesn't always last long. It can wash away with the tide and it can resurface in a different shape. It's the place we have to meet if we are to carry on. Whether or not you see what I see is beyond what really matters, I hope this art inspires you to think more about how the pieces of your life and those in it fit together so everyone can be their best self.
